NBA: Celtics, Celtics who is going to stop the Celtics?
Believe it or not, the NBA already has passed the quarter pole and right now, the three-superstar lineup of the Boston Celtics has been humming along with no one coming close to their record.
At the beginning of the season I questioned whether adding Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen to a roster that included Paul Pierce necessarily would make Boston the favorite in the Eastern Conference.
So far I’ve been wrong. The Celtics have been getting enough assistance from role players Rajan Rondo, Kendrick Perkins, James Posey, Glen Davis, Eddie House and Tony Allen to put a vise grip on first place in the Atlantic Division.
Detroit still could give them a run for their money in the conference, but clearly.
